The largest island in the Ionian Sea, Kefalonia, consists of groves of wild Olive trees surrounded by vast numbers of herbs and shrubs, which complete the beauty of its natural world and give uniqueness to the island.

In the northern side lies the crown of Kefalonia, Fiskardo, in which much of the old Venetian architecture is still apparent. On the lush green hills overlooking Fiskardo, where one has a spectacular view of the Ionian Sea – the fishermen preparing the nets for their next trip, alongside rows of boats tied to the waterfront – Villa Kelia is positioned.
